Ok, Everybodys entitled to moan so heres my one, when the Royal mail lose a parcel in the post, why does the customer always assume that we havn't actually posted it, The royal mail lose hundreds of parcels all the time, some of them are ours it happens all too often, sometimes the postman (or woman) run out of "sorry you were out" cards and take your parcel back to the sorting office where the insects die a slow boring death, sometimes and yes this has happened to one of our customers the postman cant even be bothered to deliver the parcel because they dont like insects and if the customer didnt phone the sorting office wouldnt even have known their parcel was waiting there!
So heres my advice, we post insects, thats what we do, we do it Monday through to Thursday every week, every year and have done for the past five years or so, If you have placed an order with us and you have paid, then we will have posted your order. Its not in our interests not too! All we ask is that you allow four working days for delivery, if they do not arrive - PHONE YOUR SORTING OFFICE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did i stress that point enough! 95% of the time that is where they are, If only we had a pound for every time we receive an e-mail saying " I am disgusted we ordered livefoods and they have not arrived and we have been in all the time and in any case we would have received a card if we missed the postman how dare you not send my order" only be told later "We found our livefoods at the sorting office, they couldnt explain what they were doing there".
So heres the golden rules...
1, Yes we have posted your order,
2, Please allow MAXIMUM four days for delivery
3, After this try the sorting office.
4, No luck there? OK send us a polite e-mail saying that your livefoods have not arrived and we will take care of it from there.
See its easy, theres no need to send rude e-mails, just tell us the problem and we will sort it.
We do keep a record of who we have to resend orders to, we do notice problem areas from time to time and yes it can happen twice in a row i.e a resent order also goes missing, but belive me we do post them - why wouldnt we?
Lost in post items are a real problem, so much so we have to maintain a database to keep tabs on them. perhaps the complaints should be directed towards the postal service operator - but will they listen?
